Over the past 20yrs, our firm has grown from 5 to 35, slowly because we wanted to grow in the right areas. We emphasize custom services with a strong focus on both individual and business clients.
The key services provided include audit and accounting, business consulting, forensic accounting, tax planning, and specialized options such as supplemental unemployment plans and payroll processing. We also assist with QuickBooks and other accounting software, internal control reviews, compilations, reviews, and audits of financial statements.
Our approach is based on offering the personalized attention of a smaller firm while delivering capabilities often associated with larger firms, helping clients in various industries achieve long-term growth and compliance goals.
Because of our growth, we are looking for a Tax Senior to Tax Manager level candidates to help lead the Tax Departments growth for our Individual & Business Clients.
Responsibilities
-Assume primary responsibility for client engagements, including planning, staffing, timing, technical issues and other decisions. Oversee completion of engagements, including identifying and solving problem areas during the engagement, with minimal oversight or assistance
-Conduct thorough engagement audits/reviews/compilations.
-Supervise and mentor Senior Accountants and Staff, including guiding and educating them in technical areas, identifying professional development opportunities and maintaining a respectful team atmosphere.
-Find opportunities to turn acquired technical knowledge into high value-added opportunities for Firm clients.
-Develop, strengthen and grow client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness and service-oriented approach.
-Enhance skills in the industries the Firm focuses on by seeking out and completing training courses.
-Increase office profitability by managing your time and the time of Staff and Senior Accountants efficiently, contributing ideas and adding value.
-Other duties and projects as assigned.

-Ability to meet internal Firm deadlines (time entry, billing, etc.)
Qualifications
-Active CPA
-Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Taxation or Finance
-3-5yrs of Recent Supervisory/Managerial Experience within Public Accounting
-Tax Return Review Experience with S-Corp, Pass Thru Entities, Partnerships & the Individuals
