Solar Utilities Interconnection Specialist

We are an established commercial and residential Solar company that has been at the forefront of renewable energy technology for 40+ years. We have a lot of projects coming up, and we're looking for someone to run point to help us run point on the process of submitting utility interconnection applications to the various required entities. Position Overview
The Solar Utilities Interconnection Specialist is responsible for facilitating the interconnection of solar energy systems with utility companies. This role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, managing application processes, and coordinating with various stakeholders to streamline interconnection procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Review and process utility interconnection applications for solar energy systems.
Collaborate with utility companies to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary documentation.
Maintain records of interconnection applications and their status.
Provide technical support and guidance related to interconnection processes.
Develop and implement best practices for interconnection procedures.

Qualifications

Proficient in Google Office Suite and administrative tasks.
Experience in utility interconnection applications is preferred.
Knowledge of construction techniques and blueprint reading is a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
