Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes for the production of plastic products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CAD, plastic manufacturing, and a strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering principles.
LOCATION: Commerce, GA
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and improve manufacturing processes for plastic products, including Injection Mold and Blow Molding techniques.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed designs and specifications for production.
- Conduct process evaluations and identify areas for improvement, implementing Lean Manufacturing strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste.-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and recommend solutions.
- Utilize PLC programming to automate processes and increase productivity.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify process improvements and optimize production performance.- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a process engineering role, preferably in the plastic manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software and experience in plastic product design.
- HANDS on and Troubleshooting experience!
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
-Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing processes.
