Senior Network Engineer (CCIE/CCNP)- Telecommunications

Location: Yadkinville NC- Hybrid flexibility
Salary: $150K-$170k + benefits

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer with CCIE certification to oversee and enhance the networking infrastructure of our growing telecommunications organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering and a deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and CISCO technologies. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain complex network solutions to meet business needs.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
Configure and manage routing and switching equipment.
Implement network security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects.
Document network configurations and infrastructure changes.
Utilize network monitoring tools like PRTG and SNMP for proactive management.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications

CCIE or CCNP certification is required. 4 year degree required
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer (6+ years) with strong networking skills.
Expert knowledge in Linux and networking technologies, network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS routing
Experience with routing protocols and network security best practices.
Familiarity with Ethernet, MPLS, LAN/WAN technologies.
Skills in scripting languages such as Ansible and Python are a plus.
