Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: State College, PA
Salary: $55K - $70K

About the Role:

As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet the highest quality standards. You'll work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to drive quality improvements, resolve issues, and support compliance with industry standards.

What Will You Be Doing:

- Maintain and execute document control system changes, records storage, training records
- Maintain and report relevant quality data (process yields, on-time delivery, document changes, CAR activity, Management Review etc.) to internal customers and support any resulting improvement projects
- Participate in vendor/customer management efforts (maintaining ASL, SCARs) etc
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the consistency and reliability of piezoceramic components
- Perform regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance to specifications
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, including non-conforming products, customer complaints, and internal rejections
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency
- Maintain quality documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and quality system documentation, in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality management system requirements and identify areas for improvement
- Support customer audits and inquiries regarding quality systems and processes
- Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality control processes and procedures
