Paralegal - Personal Injury Defense

Position Overview
We are TX based law firm seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our personal injury defense team in Dallas. You will assist attorneys in managing cases from inception through trial, ensuring that all legal documentation is prepared accurately and timely while conducting thorough legal research and investigations. If you have 4+ years of experience as a Paralegal with a focus in personal injury and catastrophic loss defense, we want to talk to you!

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
Conduct legal research and assist in all aspects of litigation
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions
Manage case files and document organization, ensuring compliance with legal procedures
Participate in client interviews
Research and analyze medical records, financial records, and tax records ect.
Coordinate discovery processes, including gathering evidence and preparing exhibits
Maintain communication with clients, witnesses, and experts as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience in a legal setting
4+ years proven experience in personal injury defense litigation- personal injury/catastrophic loss defense
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Familiarity with trial preparation and discovery processes
