Who you are:
2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering, automation and/or shop floor experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering or similar (preferred)
Knowledge of/experience with mechanical assembly, industrial processes, technical writing, etc.
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, specifications and wiring diagrams.
Working knowledge/experience with turbine engine assembly process methods and work instructions (preferred but not required)
Experience with Aerospace/Automotive factory processes.
Familiarity with AS9100standards and common military specifications preferred but not required
What you will be doing:
Design, development and implementation of manufacturing processes, detailed work instructions and production travelers, special tooling/equipment and production floor support required to assemble and overhaul a variety of LRUs as well as full jet engines.
Interpret engineering requirements from design data models, drawings, parts lists and specifications
Conduct detailed failure analysis
Develop root cause and implement the corrective/preventative actions
Examine workflow operation and layout of equipment
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Evaluate new and existing processes to ensure safety and quality
