Location: REMOTE or hybrid/onsite in Los Angeles, CA

We are a rapidly growing, profitable stealth company. This is an incredibly high impact, priority role for our company. We need someone to take ownership over the design, architecture, & development of high-performance, scalable front-end applications. As part of this position, you'll manage a team of front-end developers while partnering with product, design, and back-end teams to build user-friendly interfaces that enhance our AI-driven solutions. You'll be instrumental in shaping technical strategies and defining the future direction of our platform's front-end framework.

What you'll be doing

Spearhead the creation and upkeep of dynamic single-page web applications using Vue and Nest.js..
Establish and uphold standards for component architecture, code quality, testing, and performance.
Guide and mentor front-end engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and constructive feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional features and user experiences.
Transform UI/UX designs into accessible, high-performing, and visually captivating interfaces.
Manage front-end build pipelines and CI/CD workflows to ensure seamless, scalable deployments.
Stay updated with the latest front-end trends and the Vue ecosystem, driving continuous innovation.
Champion responsive, user-focused designs optimized for all devices and browsers.

What you need for this position

5+ years of Frontend experience
1+ year of technical leadership or mentorship experience
Expertise in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, & CSS
Expertise in Vue.js and supporting libraries (Vuex, Xstate, etc.)
Experience architecting frontend applications using MVVM patterns or similar scalable design paradigms
Understanding of SPA architecture, API integrations, & data flow design
Familiarity with build tools (Vite, Webpack, etc.) and experience optimizing bundle size & load performance
Bonus: Three.JS, WebGL, GIS Mapping, ArcGIS, WCAG
Bonus: Experience in the AI environment
BS in Computer Science or related
