Job Title: HVAC Sales Engineer
Location: Boston
Salary: $130K-$175K + Bonus

Requirements: HVAC Engineering experience OR experience selling to HVAC Consulting Engineers
We are an established HVAC manufacturer's rep for industry leading HVAC products used in commercial and industrial buildings throughout New England.
We are currently in search of an HVAC Sales Engineer to work with Boston area HVAC consulting engineering firms in assisting them with selections of our products to be used in their commercial and industrial projects.
The HVAC Sales Engineer will utilize their engineering knowledge to effectively solve clients' complex design needs.
While this position does have the word 'sales' in its title, this is more of a consultative role focused on specifying products on clients' designs as opposed to direct sales. It is not commission-based.
This role provides technical expertise and product selection assistance and reports to the VP of Engineering.

- Consulting mechanical engineers on the application of our products in their project designs
- Offering product selections, technical information and layout recommendations
- Providing educational presentations on the features and benefits of products to building owners, architects and design engineers
- Establishing and growing strong, long term existing client relationships
- Developing action plans for targeting new accounts
- Working closely with manufacturers' engineering and customer service personnel to provide clients with superior support
- Analyzing markets trends and competitive positioning
- Offering technical expertise and product selection assistance to our sales team
- Identifying areas of growth for manufacturers' product lines
- Conducting client office and jobsite visits
- Demonstrating upstanding and ethical judgment and decision-making at all times
- Commercial HVAC Engineering experience OR HVAC Sales Engineering experience working with mechanical consulting engineers
- Familiarity with the mechanical engineering companies within the Greater Boston area
- Knowledge of the application of air-side HVAC products
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
