Position Overview:As a Senior Project Manager for Drywall, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of drywall construction projects. This position requires a strong background in drywall construction and project management. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial drywall projects, with a particular emphasis on commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee drywall construction projects from start to finish- Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure successful project completion- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations- Monitor and manage project progress, including quality control and cost control- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders- Mentor and train junior project managers and team members
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in drywall construction - Strong knowledge of drywall construction and techniques- Experience with commercial drywall projects, including metal stud framing, metal framing, EIFS, and acoustical ceilings- Proficiency with project management software and tools- Excellent communication and leadership skills- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations- Proven track record of successfully managing and completing projects on time and within budget.
