Job Title: Corporate Environmental Manager
Location: St. Paul, MN
Salary: $110,000 - $150,000
THIS IS AN ON-SITE ROLE
Position Overview: The regulatory compliance, best management practices, efficient processes and systems, and ongoing environmental performance improvement will all fall under the purview of this role. This role will lead, implement, improve, sustain, and engage in the environmental components and elements of the company's environment, health, and safety (EHS) management system, working closely with corporate and location people.
Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to all relevant municipal, state, and federal environmental rules and regulations.
Ensure adherence to all relevant municipal, state, and federal environmental rules and regulations. Serve as the environmental compliance's regulatory arm.
Create, implement, and uphold corporate environmental policies and procedures in order to reduce environmental effect, conserve natural resources, adhere to management system standards, and continuously enhance our environmental performance.
Provide the initiative, vision, and leadership required to effectively manage environmental risk.
To achieve top-tier industrial environmental performance, develop systems and procedures for ongoing environmental and risk assessment improvement.
In order to implement new environmental efforts, lead, evaluate, oversee, and train the organization as needed.
Give direction, analysis, and advice on how significant capital projects and process modifications may affect the environment.
In order to pass EPA and municipal environmental inspections, all facilities need be made "audit ready."
Create, carry out, and take part in an internal auditing program for the environment.
Take the lead in environmental assessments that are required for change management and risk management in the industrial and business processes.
Identify and fix problems with a hands-on approach to enhance compliance and enhance environmental practices across the entire company.
Inform senior management about any environmental incidents. In charge of the environmental incident investigations and CAPAs that follow.
Send senior leadership regular reporting on environmental performance.
Serve as the environmental compliance's regulatory arm.
To achieve top-tier industrial environmental performance, develop systems and procedures for ongoing environmental and risk assessment improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field
8+ years of environmental compliance management experience
PE, CHMM, or equivalent is preferred
