Position Overview
The Controller will oversee all financial aspects of the organization within the construction industry, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and effective management of budgets and forecasts. This role is critical for driving financial performance, managing risks, and supporting business growth within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy in financial statements
Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to align with organizational goals
Implement cash flow management strategies to optimize liquidity
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
Lead financial analysis and provide strategic insights for decision-making
Supervise finance team, fostering leadership and professional development

Monitor financial performance and project profitability within the construction sector
Manage vendor relationships and contract management to ensure cost control and compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
Proficient in cash flow management and risk management strategies
Experience with internal controls and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to embrace technological advancements to improve financial processes
Proven experience in project management and cost control strategies
