Position Overview: The Controller is responsible for all aspects of the company's financial planning, management, and reporting. The Controller will provide leadership in the development of financial strategies and objectives in order to support the organizations short and long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain internal controls and compliance policies
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other applicable rules and regulations
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage the budgeting process and financial forecasting
- Coordinate and oversee audits and tax filing
- Analyze the financial performance of the organization and its entities
- Monitor and report on investments, acquisitions, and other financial transactions
- Manage the integration of systems and processes, including accounting and reporting
- Analyze complex financial data and develop recommendations
- Manage relationships with private equity investors and other partners
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Five plus years of experience in a related field
-CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Proficiency in financial management software and systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of private equity investments and systems integration is preferred
