Who you are:
High school diploma or GED;
10+ years experience in a Quality Control Inspection function;
Basic computer skills; Understanding and knowledge of the use of basic inspection tools;
J-85 engine experience desirable;
Proficient with the English language to interpret and follow various technical data.
What you will be doing:
Train our intermediate/senior level inspectors on engine overhaul inspection process;
Write non-conforming materials reports when required and be familiar with the process of quarantining products that have been rejected by QA;
Lead quality and engineering in investigations of process related quality issues;
Read, understand, interpret, and follow maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins and technical orders to carry out tasks;
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively mentor team members as their resident inspection expert on components, subassemblies, and complete engines;
Detail oriented, ability to stay on task, and self-motivated;
Be compliant with safety procedures and policies
