We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of financial management, including financial accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and the development and maintenance of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.

The Accounting Manager is expected to be an organized and thorough individual who can work independently and within a team environment. This position reports directly to the Segment Controller and requires strong verbal and written communication skills, GAAP knowledge, and experience using ERP (Sage) and FP&A.

Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the general accounting team, which includes setting goals and objectives, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures.
- Generate timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial data to identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and laws.
- Prepare payroll, taxes and other financial requirements on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis
- Prepare and deliver presentations to various stakeholders including the CFO and President.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and ERP (Sage) and FP&A.
- Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and oversight skills.
