Position Overview: In your role as a planning manager, you will oversee a group of regional planners that create multimodal transportation plans and projects for state DOTs, counties, cities, and MPOs at various scales. In addition to overseeing workloads, encouraging team morale, fostering professional growth, and guaranteeing high-quality work products, you will manage and mentor employees. You will use your technical proficiency in multimodal planning to assist team members with client and project management issues and provide them with coaching. You will oversee and assist with multimodal transportation projects across Washington state and beyond as a project manager. Collaborating with personnel from diverse fields, you will incorporate feedback from numerous interested parties to develop plans and initiatives that win awards and generate momentum for constructive community transformation.
