Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Requirements: General litigation experience
Location: Orange County or San Francisco
Salary: $65-100k
Our client is an AV Rated law firm with offices in Aliso Viejo and the San Rafael. Their clientele is broad and varied, ranging from banks and credit unions to investors and residential and commercial landlords. Although a smaller firm, they are well-known in the industry with an outstanding reputation.
The ideal candidate will possess 5+ years of experience as a paralegal with a litigation firm and a paralegal certificate.
Responsibilities:
You will become familiar with our creditor-bankruptcy and eviction departments' current litigation procedures and offer assistance as needed. Additionally, you will review and, if needed, revamp procedures with the managing partners and department heads. You will also help implement quality control follow-up.
In summary, this is a fast-paced position that calls for strong interpersonal and administrative skills in addition to paralegal knowledge in order to find solutions that will benefit the entire firm.
What You Need:
- 3+ years experience as a Paralegal in a litigation firm
- Experience in administrative role
- E-filing documents in state and federal courts
- Familiarity with Word and Excel
- Experience using Pro Law is a plus
